Position Overview
As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be accountable for defining and executing on gitti’s marketing strategy in support of our organisational objectives. You will oversee both performance marketing - to drive growth and customer acquisition in our focus markets, as well as brand marketing - ensuring that our brand message is consistently and effectively communicated across all channels. You’ll manage a 7-figure marketing budget, oversee gitti’s day-to-day marketing activities, deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with our brand values, and lead a talented team to achieve our business goals. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, results-driven leader with a deep understanding of performance marketing and a passion for branding.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic and Operational Leadership:
- Define gitti’s marketing vision in support of overall business objectives and in alignment with gitti’s brand values.
- Ensure efficient budget management, optimizing the allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives across digital, social, email, PR and other channels to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Digital Marketing and E-commerce:
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing including paid social, SEO, SEM, and email marketing, to drive e-commerce growth.
- Monitor and optimize customer journeys and conversion rates across our digital platforms, ensuring continuous improvement in performance metrics.
- Utilize data analytics and market research to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-informed decisions to optimize performance.
- Brand and Campaign Management :
- Ensure the consistent application of gitti’s brand message across all marketing materials and channels, maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
- Lead the execution of marketing campaigns and product launches, coordinating efforts across various markets and channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Operations, and Retail, to ensure seamless and effective campaign rollouts.
- Team Leadership and Partnership Management:
- Support the expansion and management of influencer partnerships, focusing on both micro- and macro-influencers as well as opinion leaders who align with our brand values.
- Assist in identifying and developing strategic partnerships with like-minded brands and organizations to expand our brand’s reach and impact.
